Students have a variety of activities from which to choose. In the mornings, campers follow an individualized schedule they help create. Daily morning activities include horseback riding, archery, tennis, woodworking, arts/crafts, ceramics, mountain biking, and photography.
The camp has a well equipped wood shop and art center. There are opportunities for instruction in a wide variety of media, including ceramics, silk-screening, painting, drawing, and photography as well as a state-of-the-art computer lab for multi-media classes.
Dunnabeck also has its own stables and two riding rings. Campers from beginner to expert, have the opportunity to ride on a daily basis as well as participate in evening rides.
In the afternoons and evenings, campers participate in activities based on their age group. Examples include soccer, rugby, and capture the flag.
In addition, the camp has its own water-ski boats parked on a nearby lake, and campers have the opportunity to go waterskiing, wakeboarding, and tubing each week. They also spend one afternoon each week swimming at a local pool and one afternoon swimming at a local pond.
Weekends offer time to take trips off campus to places such as Six Flags, Mount Creek Waterpark, and Jiminy Peak. Campers have the option to go go-carting and play miniature golf. Also, they take weekend-long camping trips to Mount Greylock. Some take the opportunity for a full day of water skiing, wakeboarding, or tubing at the lake as well.
