A majority of students in this program are likely to say that horseback riding is their favorite subject; the equestrian program affords many of our students an area where they can excel. The self-confidence gained by small children who learn to master large and powerful animals is often the crucial element in the academic success of a child in the elementary program.
All students participate in after school activities. Fifth and sixth graders who play on middle school teams enjoy their association with the seventh and eighth graders, the excitement of going off campus to games, the importance of wearing uniforms, and the pleasure of announcing victory and outstanding effort at community meetings. Similarly, camaraderie builds up among the mountain bikers, the yoga group, the skaters, and the skiers and snowboarders.
