Training & Outreach

Faculty

From its inception, Kildonan School has had an underlying, secondary mission: to share our wealth of knowledge about dyslexia and appropriate ways to address it. An experienced team of faculty provide training to teachers and parents. Our summer training institute is particularly popular for teachers who wish to pursue Orton-Gillingham training. We also continue to expand our list of resources.

In 1969, she founded the Kildonan School and directed it for many years. For ten years, she concentrated her efforts on training teachers, mainly in the Public Schools of New York State. She is currently teaching at the Kildonan School. In 1990 she was the recipient of the Samuel Orton Award. She served as executive director to the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators and is a member of that board.
