Woodworking is designed to teach campers basic woodworking skills and knowledge while also learning about tool safety and operation. This class introduces campers to hand tools as well as portable and stationary power tools. Campers complete group and individual projects designed to provide practical experience in construction theory and woodworking techniques.

Campers explore wood as a sculptural media, emphasis on using found and reclaimed materials, and understanding wood’s transformation from living material in the forest to fine furniture and artistic pieces.
